Last night I went downtown to the Pioneer Theater on East 3rd to see A Day Off, a good film by Larry Kamerman. Good acting. Afterwards, this is what I saw. This is Avenue A, looking south, at twilight on a summer evening after a rainy day.

Mary, this one is, to me, especially stupendous. The stretched-out street, the eerie lighting - wonderful and strange.
From someone who is, if not wonderful, strange (well, not strange enough...).
Stinky Rads.
When I see this picture, I see romance in the air. A great nite to walk with a special someone or even by yourself. This is my favorite one.
