Upper West Side, 92nd Street at Columbus Avenue Looking West

Mary Sargent © 2006 …………………………………….. click to enlarge

Don't know what the building is or what that oval opening is, but through the miracle of zooming in, I do know that the little object at the bottom of the oval is a vase of flowers. Some day when I go back to walk on West 92nd Street, I'll see the front of that building and all will be clear. Sheherazade, that's me.

See map.

I really like the two pinks - first thought was that the lighter color was the result of sunlight - but then I thought maybe it was painted that way. I am sure my first thought was right, but fun to think somebody painted part a lighter pink. Love the pink reflection in the windows to the right, also the blues on the playground looking stuff. It is usually the colors with me.

If you look closely at the building, you will see the places where there were once windows all along the wall. For some reason, they kept the circular one. And no, it's not an illusion.
