When that first came up on my screen, for a second I thought it was a bookcase. The areas between the windows/door look a little like old leatherbound books.

There is such a richness of facades and architecture in general in Manhattan. I read the article, liked the phrase "an architect of fecundity"- and so he was.

I enjoyed the dog post, both the photo AND the comments.
