Here's one of those shots I have a weakness for: flat with squares and rectangles fitting together, color (though not necessary), doesn't hurt, and a little detail, as in the delicate iron work, is always nice.

I love this one too, for the same reasons you're giving. It reminds me of the Murray Hill photo that I wrote a comment on that never got published due to my tempermental computer. But anyway it was about the oversized jigsaw quality of the photo--everything fitting together in the most interesting angular way--every piece vying for its own space. And love these colors, too.
