I have crossed from St. Nicholas Avenue to Broadway at 182nd Street and I'm walking down Broadway to 175th and over to Ft. Washington Avenue where I'll take the A train home.
This is the George Washington Bus Terminal and the reason it is not famous as an architectural landmark, so they say, is because it is a bus terminal and the bus goes to New Jersey. Please go to nyc-architecture to become properly impressed. The architect was Pier Luigi Nervi. Note that you must scroll down past the GW Bridge information to get to the bus terminal.
