Central Harlem, Lenox Avenue Between 115th and 114th Streets

It was a beautiful day; I had to take my jacket off and tie it around my waist, and lots of little children on the street. Parents standing in groups waiting to pick them up.

See map.

A very "lit up" photo (someone in my office just said, "You lit up when I said her name," and those words fit beautifully). So wonderfully springish, so New York. Keep this for a rainy day (make that a cold rainy day).

Yes! Copy! And the way the green stretches into the middle ground! Vant to be zere! In the pic.

Been awhile....I see this picture and would love to roost in one of the fine trees, if only the ability to fly had not been bred out of me.

"Leave your comment"! Well, and so I shall. It's a pretty, pretty afternoon. Don't you all love how New York streets are filled, day and night, with walkers of all walks of life? And very few bang into one another. And many are so intent in going forward. And some, so intent on conversing, midstream, with a cell friend. One of a kind.

That tiny, faraway rectangle, green - so fetching. More nature, fewer cars (uh, well, maybe).
