Flyinglady steals all of my comments! That being said, I'll add one tiny note (also of appreciation, o' course): the webbed cardboard box looks like home.
I do like the varied light - what time of day was this taken? I first assumed the foreground light is sunlight, but it almost seems artificial.

I like the different layers of the picture, the boxes, the building then the stairs. I like that the words were partially covered.
I can now say this since time has gone by, but when I first saw it (with my eyesight what it is) I thought they were giant pieces of frommage. Sorry.
